Automodular Receives New Contract
TORONTO - October 12, 2005
Automodular Corporation ("Automodular") reports that it has received a new contract to sub-assemble and sequence automotive modules for a North American Original Equipment Manufacturer ("OEM") commencing October, 2006. The contract will fill the remaining space
in Automodular's new plant currently under construction in Oakville, Ontario, and will add approximately 80 new jobs to the plant which in total, is expected to employ more than 400 personnel.
As part of its agreement with the OEM, Automodular has agreed to keep confidential the name and location of the OEM or the particulars of the work involved until such time as the OEM has announced the related program.
Separately, Automodular reports that Daniel Flood has resigned as a director of the Corporation effective October 1, 2005. The founder and former president of Tec-Mar Distribution Services, Inc., Mr. Flood joined the board in January 2003. |
